The question is: Why would we want to read a book which has not been "canonized" by men several centuries ago?
When the Bible was compiled, the reformed church decided to ONLY INCLUDE texts which were written in Greek.
They automatically excluded ANY original book which had been written in the Language of that day!
Why did they do that?
Because they were not able to accurately translate from Aramaic, the language spoken by the Jesus and the Apostles!
Fact: If you were Noah, and if you were as wise as Noah, then YOU would do exactly what Noah did.
![]() Noah took the Book of Enoch into the Ark with him.
![]() Enoch was Noah's Great-Grandfather, who knew more about everything than any other person in the entire history f all creation.
![]() Noah's Grandfather Methusaleh was still able to speak with Enoch, who never died and was NOT "taken away completely" . . . Enoch was only Hidden away from men and devils; he was in another part of creation.
![]() If you had been Noah . . .
![]() » do not you know that you would have taken your grandfather's books with you on the Ark?
As it is written . . .
In those days: Men lived much longer lives. Below are the Geneologies of Enoch and Noah.
![]() The Book of Genesis, King James Version ...
{4:16} And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
{4:17} And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
{4:18} And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
{4:19} And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one [was] Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
{5:18} And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
{5:19} And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
{5:20} And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
{5:21} And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
{5:22} And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
{5:23} And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
{5:24} And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
{5:25} And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
{5:26} And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
{5:27} And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
![]() {5:28} And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
{5:29} And he called his name Noah, saying, This [same] shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
{5:30} And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
{5:31} And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
{5:32} And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
So we know according to the King James Version of the bible that ...
Enoch lived among men 365 years; he was only 65 years old when Methusaleh was born.
But Enoch NEVER DIED.
Understand: Enoch did not die at the age of 365,
nor was Noah completely taken away from his son Methusaleh who could still contact his father for many more centuries.
Methusaleh lived 969 years, but he was only 187 when Lamech was born.
Lamech lived 777 years, he was only 182 years old when Noah was born.
That means the Lamech lived 595 years AFTER Noah was born.
But Lamech was not on the ark, he must have either died before the flood or at the time of the flood.
= Which means that NOAH must have been at least 595 years old when the flood came.
Why does this matter?
Because all of the modern-day church still believes the lie that both NOAH and his father Lamech never met Enoch.
But that is not true, neither is it true that today we are much, MUCH SMARTER than were the men of those days before the flood.
Think about it; reason with God instead of reading against the Truth.
We live only 70-80 years (typically); we are "educated" by our early- or our mid-twenties.
From that age until we die (35-60 years) we learn a little bit more.
Are you able to understand how much more, how VERY MUCH MORE,
that every man would grow,
» if only we had Six to Eight CENTURIES of Learning during which to learn?
The simple fact is that before the flood, that culture on this earth was far more advanced than are we today.
But still the church has decided to believe the lie.
Those who have not personally personally experienced ("known") our Lord and our God Jesus Christ,
believe that the Holy Scriptures (the recorded and written words of what God has done),
» is "the Word of God."
No, it is NOT TRUE that the Bible is "the Word of God!"
Jesus Christ is the Word of God!
Got it?
Jesus told us that ONLY HE would lead us into all truth.
But instead of believing Jesus and asking Jesus to lead us into all truth,
we have decided to rely upon our own understanding and upon our own learning
. . . and to lean upon the understanding of complete strangers . . .
» instead of hearing, believing and obeying Jesus Christ!
THINK People! If you had lived Six or Seven HUNDRED Years by now,
then how much "smarter" and wiser would you be today?
If you had been NOAH, and if you had centuries in which to prepare for the flood,
do you think that you would have taken with you on the Ark ALL the BOOKS which your grandfather Enoch was commanded by God to personally write?
the
Therefore, the ages of Enoch at which his son Methusaleh, his grandson Lamech and his great-grandson Noah were born and died may be calculated . .
![]() Enoch's geneology cited in the Gospel of Luke. The geneology of Jesus, starting Salah ...
{3:36} Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,
{3:37} Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,
{3:38} Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
The Book of Enoch was also cited in the New Testament, as follows ...
The Epistle to the Hebrews also quoted the Book of Enoch ...
{11:1} Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
{11:2} For by it the elders obtained a good report.
{11:3} Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
{11:4} By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
{11:5} By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
The General Epistle of Jude The Book of Enoch is also quoted by Jude ...
{1:14} And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, "Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,"
{1:15} To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
{1:16} These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words,] having mens persons in admiration because of advantage.
In those days: Men lived much longer lives.
Enoch lived centuries until he was "taken away" (with Elijah Enoch is one of the only two Prophets who never died).
The bible does say that at the age of 365 years Enoch was taken "away" ... not "taken into heaven."
The bible does not say to where Enoch "was taken."
In fact Enoch was only taken to another place, instead he was "hidden" from the enemies of God and from most men.
But Enoch's son, grandson and great-grandsons were still able to consult with Enoch.
Yes, this part of the Book of Enoch were actually writen BY NOAH himself, as it is written . . .
"And in those days the voice of God was with me, and he said to me: 'Noah, behold thy portion has ascended to me, a portion without blame, a portion of love and of rectitude. And now the angels are making a wooden building, and when they are gone to that work, I will liftup my hands upon it and will preserve it; and out of it will be [i.e. come] the seed of life, and achange will come so that the earth does not remain empty. And I will strengthen thy seed before me to all eternity, and will scatter those who dwell with theeover the face of the earth, and it [i.e. the seed] will be blessed and increased over the earth in the name of the Lord.' " [Book of Enoch 67:1-3]
